1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching (Sport & Physical Activity)

The recognised centre is required to conduct an initial assessment of learners to ensure that pre-requisites to registration and certification and any barriers that may disadvantage a learner under the Equality Act 2010 are considered and outcomes recorded during the application process. Prior to registration learners are required to: • be accurately identified • be at least 16 years of age • be able to undertake this assessment in English or Welsh (if available)

Active IQ Level 3 Award in Instructing Outdoor Fitness (601/8833/9)

Learners must hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing or equivalent. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.

Learners must be 19 + and do not need to be in a teaching role. Learners must be competent in the area in which they wish to teach, with evidence that suggests the teaching qualification is appropriate to them as individuals.

Active IQ Level 2 Award in Instructing Studio Cycling

Learners must hold a suitable Level 2 fitness instructing qualification, for example: Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing. Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Group Training. Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing. Some experience of studio cycling is useful.

FABS Training Programme (Fast Track)
