About the Role:
Sheffield United Community Foundation is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-qualified Education Tutor to deliver further education and/or higher education courses. This vacancy is open to newly qualified as well as experienced teachers. We are looking for a tutor who specialises in Sport, Fitness and/or Esports fields to deliver cross-college education programmes.

You will be working within a professional football club charity environment, joining our dynamic team of passionate professionals. This role offers the opportunity to teach, mentor, and support Sheffield United Community College students across a range of study programmes and levels (L2 to L6). Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons in both classroom and practical settings. You will also be tasked with assessing learners’ work in line with processes set by the college leadership and awarding bodies.

Key Objectives of the Role:
– Deliver outstanding lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners, employing a variety of teaching strategies and ensuring access to a wide range of resources, while providing thorough assessment opportunities.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner data, including attendance, individual targets, progression, achievements, and destinations.
– Promote learner retention, achievement, and success by providing an exceptional educational experience that empowers learners to reach their full potential.
– Create and sustain an optimal learning environment to enhance the overall learner experience.
About Sheffield United Community College:

Sheffield United Community College offers a range of bespoke Post-16 and Higher Education qualifications in disciplines such as Sport, Fitness, Business, and Esports. Our courses are delivered at a selection of carefully chosen sites across Sheffield and are led by a team of qualified teachers, support staff, and coaches.
