Self-employed BACPR-qualified Specialist Exercise Instructor

The North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation & Aftercare Charity is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated BACPR-qualified Specialist Exercise Instructor to work with us on a part-time self-employed basis.

You will be responsible for the weekly delivery of up to 6 x well-established community-based Phase 4 Cardiac Rehab Exercise Classes. These 1-hour classes currently take place on Wednesday in Blaenavon, Ebbw Vale, Nantyglo and Tredegar and on Tuesday in Abertillery and Usk. There may be flexibility around the days and times for the right candidate.

There will also be the opportunity to expand the role through developing new ideas on increasing class membership.
Suitable applicants will need to be well presented and passionate about exercise and healthy lifestyles.

Salary: c.£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience.

Job: up to 9 hours per week (6 x 1 hr classes plus 30 mins admin time per class to maintain/update class records etc).
Benefits: Opportunity to develop the role and for further hours if demand arises. Subsidised training and development.
